We
are dedicated to providing handcrafted
quality braided leather products for your dogs.
There is no stitching or rivets used as these tend to pop or
break long before your lead is worn out. All of the products are individually crafted with simple hand
tools, with no mass production or machinery.
We love the bull-hides as they are more stretchy and springy than the
latigos. They are also wonderfully soft and supple right from the beginning. That means there is no working in of the leather, that can takes
years of use. It is just immediately luxurious in your hands.
Our favorite leashes are leather ones that have been used from
training classes to walks to whatever. And, the braided ones are the best. But,
we never had a bull-hide lead before and cannot believe the difference.
Our Alfie (12½ years of age in this
photo) is sporting one of these gems. This particular lead is 3/4" wide
in the colors of Sand and Tobacco. It is the perfect width for larger

Bull-hide leads are simply stunning. They look good. They smell good. And, they
feel good. They are also strong and long lasting. So long lasting that you will
probably never need another lead again for your dog.
This color
combination of the colors sand and tobacco are simply perfect for light and
golden colored dogs. Honestly, all persons owned by a Golden Retriever need to
treat themselves to one of these fabulous Sand/Tobacco combo leads. We also like
twisting together two of the same color and have both pure tobacco/tobacco and
rich chocolate/chocolate leads.
The colors tobacco and black are wonderful for dogs such as
the Bernese Mountain Dog, Newfoundland, Saint Bernard, and more. Here are the 12

The regular bullhide leathers are too heavy for our little ones.
However, these
Mellow Tanned lightweight leathers are perfect. We pair two at 5/16" and
it results in a
light fully twisted leather lead for a toy dog. You
select your length (2', 3', 4', 5', 6').
And
they are available in solid colors or your choice of two colors.

Martingale Collar Option
These collars are helpful for dogs that have heads that are
smaller than their necks like greyhounds, whippets, pugs, Wheaton
terriers, and Jack Russell terriers. When adjusted correctly the dog is
never choked, but the collar stays snug around the dog's neck until the
pressure is released. The collar works like this:
- Loosen the collar diameter with the
tri-glide and slide the collar around your dog's neck.
- Tighten it up with the tri-glide to
the correct size.
- Attach your leash to the collar's D
ring.
- When the dog pulls, the loop up front
on the collar will tighten so your dog cannot escape
their collar.

ASKED QUESTIONS
How long
does it take to complete an order?
Each Mimi Green product is made to order so please allow 10-12 business days
to create your order. If it will be any longer than that, we will let you know.
How do I clean these custom collars & leashes?
We always use washable fabrics and suggest you wash them in the dishwasher
or on the gentle cycle of your washing machine. Hang dry of course; as you would
will all your own designer wear ;)
What if my customized collar is the wrong size?
If it is too big, Mimi Green can usually take it in a size. We ask that you
measure your dog's collar length before you place your order to avoid any size frustrations. The
fee for alterations to size is $9.
What if my dog
accidentally pulls out some of the embroidery with his/her nails?
Mimi Green can make repairs on embroidered collars. The charge is between $6 and $9
depending on how badly the embroidery is pulled out. |
