Living in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York, artist Michelle Masters' love of gardening and growing things found their way to paper through her fun topiary creations. Her clever images are clean, simple, uncluttered and well designed. Michelle received and MFA in computer graphic design from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1993. Her fine art (watercolor sample shown here) has been shown in state and national exhibitions. 

Michelle considers herself to be a very tactile person and places a strong emphasis on the "feel" of her products—the weight of the stationery paper, the smooth finish of her framed prints and the texture of the fabric which shows through the paint on her pillows. She finds richness in the details and desires to translate that sense of quality in all that she creates.

The pillow here features her "Shear Bliss" design. Who says a dog wouldn't enjoy a couch made from a topiary hedge? Wouldn't it be bliss to stretch out on a sofa in the garden for the afternoon?

Topiary stationery is the perfect gift for any gardener. All of Michelle Masters' stationery items are printed in the U.S. on acid free, recycled archival cardstock. The papers used are also Lignin Free and Certified Processed Chlorine Free, additionally consisting of at least 30% post consumer fiber.

Michelle offers over 20 of her whimsical images (below) in her Note Card line. Each set is comprised of six cards, all blank inside for your own message. The cards are 4.5 inches x 5.5 inches and have matching envelopes. The set is beautifully packaged and tied with raffia or band.

Simple and sweet defines Michelle's Greeting Cards, which are printed on sandstone colored recycled paper and paired with beautiful Fall Sky Blue envelopes. Adorable whimsical messages are found inside, with cards to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, or a new birth. There are five cards in this set, packaged wonderfully with raffia or band.
