items ship directly from the distributor and arrive separately from

I just received my Backgammon
Game and was shocked at how well it was made and how large it
is. I just wish that it came with information telling about how
it was made in Africa, like you have on the foundation's site.
I'm saving it for Christmas. It is totally worth every penny! —

Handmade
Backgammon Game

There is not much we can say about this exquisite game beyond, "Wow!"
But, trust me, you will never see another set like this.
Please be sure to click below to see a larger

For those folks who are true gamers, this is a must-have item. The
entire set is handmade except for the die. Everything is stitched and
painted by hand and the leather detailing is unbelievable.
The inside suede colors are typically red with beige, or
green with beige, although they may vary based on availability. Made
from thin strips of leather bound and woven together by hand, the
“board” rolls up around a leather tube with a cap, which holds all of
the playing pieces. Then, you merely tie it together and slide it into
your backpack or suitcase to take along on safari or whatever.
Obviously, this set is for the rugged set but we'd probably want to just
keep it on our coffee table where it would be safe and sound. Much time
and skill goes into one of these creations and there are literally only
a couple available at any one time. Each game that is made is a
one-of-a-kind creation, so colors will vary.
This is a special order item which requires 8 weeks from acceptance of
order to delivery. Fifty percent of the total cost is required to place
this order and when it arrives from Kenya, a separate Paypal money
request will be sent to you for the remaining monies that are due.
